Anastasio’s blast powers Upper Darby to win

Max Anastasio slugged a three-run homer to cap a seven-run, second-inning outburst that carried Upper Darby to an 8-2 weather-shortened victory over Marple Newtown in the Delco League Monday night.
The game was stopped in the fourth inning.
The Blue Sox sent 10 hitters to the plate and used six hits and a walk to break the game open. Joey Suppa went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Andrew Yates was 3-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Henry Dawes allowed three hits and two runs in four innings to get the win.
Tom Carey and Corey Woodcock drove in one run each for the Black Sox.
