Paul Kokol ripped a two-run single to cap a threerun outburst in the top of the fifth inning that put the Black Sox ahead to stay. Tom Carey started the rally with an RBI single.

Carey drove in two runs while going 2-for-4. Corey Woodcock also knocked in two runs. Steve DiStefano went the route for Marple to get the win.

Mike White drove in two runs for the Mudcats. Ryan Guckin went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored.
