Johnny Gonzalez and Grayson Walker combined on a six-hit shutout for the Blue Sox. Gonzalez started and gave up four hits in three innings. Walker scattered two hits over the final three frames to get the win.
Andrew Yates went 4-for-4 with two runs scored to power the offense. Brady Mutz was 2-for-3 with one RBI. Joey Suppa, Steve Stheisen, Christian Strickland, Max Anastasio and Matt Querey drove in one run each.
