Strickland’s clutch hit boosts UD

Christian Strickland ripped a two-run double in the top of the seventh inning to power Upper Darby to a 5-3 victory over Chester in the Delco League Thursday night.

Strickland finished 3-for with three RBIs. Max Anastasio knocked in a pair of runs for the Blue Sox. Ben Mutz pitched three innings in relief of starter Jack Haveson to get the win.
