Wilson’s hit pushes Wayne to another win

Connor Wilson had the go-ahead RBI single in bottom of the sixth inning, bringing home Matt Briner en route to Wayne’s 5-3 comeback victory over Upper Darby in Delco League action Sunday.

Billy Ford had a three-run home run in the first inning to get Wayne going, but the club needed 2⅓ sharp innings of relief from Culver Hughes to finish the game out.

Joe Peluso had started for Wayne, allowing just one earned run and five hits over four innings.
