Concord 11, Marple Newtown 6

From the Daily Times posted 7/22/2019

Concord stated its case for a playoff bye, as Chris Salvey homered, doubled and drove in four, and Ben Burman tossed five solid innings as the Canes wrapped up the regular season with a win.

Ben Faso added three hits and two runs. Frank Saviski had three hits, a run and an RBI for Concord, which finished its 32-game run with 59 points, good for second in the league. Third-place Upper Darby has 55 points and two games remaining – at Wayne Monday, and a to-be-rescheduled game against Marple Newtown if it is pertinent for either’s playoff standing.
