Mighty Quinn’s infield hit lifts Lions

Fom the Daily Times posted:

Jim Quinn’s infield single plated Mike Ricci Wednesday night, and thereby lifted the Middletown Lions to a 5-4 extra-inning victory in Delco League baseball action.

Chris Lansberry chipped in with two hits, including a double, and Tim Becker had three hits for Middletown, which earned its first victory against two losses.

The Lions were led on the mound by Andrew Abrams, who went the eight-inning distance, scattering four hits and striking out six Chester batters.

Chip Scherer had two of the Chester hits.
