Springfield 1, Middletown 0

From the Daily Times posted 7/4/2019

Nate Booth outdueled Josh Schneider to pace the Colonials to their fifth straight win.

Booth allowed two hits, to Scott Kelly, walked three and struck out five to move Springfield within three points of seventh place and six from a playoff spot. Brandon DiChaccio and Cole Palis teamed up for the only run Booth would need.

DiChaccio laced a one-out single in the bottom of the sixth inning, stole second and came home on a single by Palis.

Schneider was nearly as effective as Booth. He allowed four hits and struck out five in six innings.
