Concord turned to the squeeze play to sweep a doubleheader from Marple Newtown.
Kyle Davis laid down a perfect squeeze bunt with one of out in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Canes a 6-5 victory in the second game of the twin bill. Concord took the first game, 12-6.
Davis went 3-for-3 and drove in Andrew Belfiglio with the winning run. Nate Sides finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored and pitched the final two innings in relief of Ben Faso to get the win.
In the opener, Davis was 3-for-4 with a walk and three-runs scored. Jake Carr slugged a three-run homer while going 3-for-5 with four RBIs. Frank Saviski also was 3-for-5. Faso and Brian Kirk added two hits and two RBIs apiece. Billy Buckwalter was the winning pitcher.
